I am wondering if I am just a picky annoying client but I have found to have 2 horrible experiences with hairdresser in the Caribbean.
I went to hairdressers on two occassions for weaves and have found them to be very lazy and unprofessional. I chose those particular salons b/c they are rated as the best on the island because these stylists travel abroad for training.
I am not expecting to have my usual NYC weave but I was extremely disappointed in not only the results but the attitudes of the stylists. Number one; they do not listen and are offended when you ask questions. I usually reuse my wagmans hair which the wefts are sealed. They were both annoyed that they had to reinsall hair that was use. They were terrible with the blending on top. I asked the first hairdresser how she was gonna track the hair and she said, 'relax, let me track it my way'. She would cut a piece of the weave hair to use to braid after I told her not to. Then I asked her to bend the tracks instead of cutting them even more and she did not listen. She said I was difficult
The second stylist seemed upset that it took her unusually long to install the hair. The salon is listed as being closed at 7 and she started complaining at 5?! Is it my fault that she did not know how to install that type of hair. I was the one threading the needle (which I had to buy on my way there) and also I was handing her the hair to place the tracks....
I am just wondering if I am high mainainence.....what are your expectations from you stylist?
