What Do People In Your State Buy The Most Of Online?


Online shopping has increasingly become an addiction (e-diction?) for millions of Americans. And with marketing that allows pop ups to follow you around the web, it’s e-commerce is becoming harder and harder to stay away from. Taking note of our online shopping habits, mega retailer, eBay, has put together a chart of the most purchased items in each state…proving there’s nothing unique about any of us, after all.  According to Mashable:

The Internet retailer analyzed which items states purchase the most, finding the top 500 brands for each state and then boiling them down to general categories … From there, eBay figured out which items shoppers buy on its site the most, in all 50 states and Washington, D.C.

From the chart, it appears as though Alaska’s want for hats is on 10, New Jersey’s full-up on fist-pumping colognes, and strangely enough, New York residents are hoarding firearms — must be Upstate. Weird. Check out what your state’s residents weaknesses are below.
