tried a protective style - parted it right in the middle, brushed it back into a low pony. braided the left out hair and pinned into a lil' bun. Think I'm going to try and do this throughout the work week and see if it decreased shedding.

shea moisture milk to detangle, asiam double butter creme for moisture, almond oil to seal, eco styler for hold.

before i was doing my buns by first doing a regular pony but at the last tie around, not taking the hair all the way throughout. if that makes sense. but that left my hair matted and knotty. hopefully with a braid it will not knot up.

Massaged hair growth oil on my scalp and put my deep conditioning masque mix on my hair, put on a shower cap, went back to bed and washed it off now, about 4 hours later, with my delicious OGX keratin oil shampoo and conditioner.

eta: my hair is dry, but ever since I started washing my hair with the OGX keratin after doing the deep conditioning masque mix, my hair is sleek and has been able to retain moisture.
My original mix was shea moisture's yucca & baobab masque + coconut oil +almond oil + castor oil; sometimes I add this cheap cocoa butter oil that I think is irrelevant, and I have been adding vitamin E to the mix too.

I am soo happy, my hair looks so healthy, moisturized, glossy and beautiful.Star

Eventually I co-washed, did a Gelatin tx followed by an Avocado/honey/CO and Condition tx.

My hair responds well to Avocado luckily I am getting them at a great price lately.

yesterday i did so much. started off with pre-poo of all the oils i had: coconut oil, almond oil, avocado oil, rosemary oil, JBCO, olive oil, aguaje oil, argan oil . left it in for about 2-3 hours or so. shampoo'd, then applied aphogee 2 minute protein treatment. ive been hearing some good hings so i wanted to try it out.

afterwards i deep conditioned under my heutiful hair steamer for 20 minutes with shea moisture's shea butter deep treatment masque. then i put my hair into a braided bun using the LCO method.

gonna keep my hair this way until Friday morning, hopefully i have less shedding.
