I'm getting ready to take some more headshots, and I'm not sure what color options I should go with. The last time I took some headshot I used blue, which almost always looks good on any skin tone. I need 2 pick 2-3 colors that I will be photographed in and I'm stuck on which color would photograph the best and look best on my skin tone. I'm brown (I couldn't tell you what MAC shade I am because everytime I get matched I'm a different color, but I'm Caramel in Estee Lauder DW). What are your opinions on the colors I'm thinking about, here are some examples:

Banana Yellow

Orange

Red

Deep Purple

Lavender Purple

Green "Grass green" (not the best example)

White

Black

Coral/Salmon

Lime green (the pale lime green that favors a green mint color)

My hair will be down in middle part and side part straight. As far as my skin complexion I don't know how to describe it, I'm caramel in estee lauder and NW 43 (I think) in MAC.

If your face is the one theyre seeking how big of a role does color play? RealQ. Aside from not wearing a print which can be distracting having an option of 3 colors allows u to hit up cool neutral and warm tones.

These are acting headshots so color plays a big role, your headshot is like your resume so if you have a color that reflects well on your skin tone it helps your headshot stand out. The reason I said 2 or 3 because I'm just trying to narrow down the options because when submitting for a job you can only submit one photo anyway. I'm normally cast to play college girl aged roles but here lately I've been cast to play a lot of nursing like roles. When I submit for professional roles my blue headshots always work but when I submit for party/college girl roles pink is what gets me booked. I wanted a color that I can submit for any role.
