I guess we all have had different experiences with white and black cars.
I had a white jeep when my then hubby had a black car. Unless it rained, his car showed waaaaaay more dirt/dust/pollen/scratches/scuffs than mine. When it was freshly washed, wow! It WAS gorgeous. 3 days later, a different story.

My SO now has a white car and I have a dark colored truck. if he skips a week without washing them, my truck looks so bad that I'm too embarrassed to do valet when we go out. His car, unless you're right up on it, still looks clean.

I plan to sell the Red car . Insurance rates are higher for Red cars and trucks.

I will keep my Purple until the car stops running lol.

The red car = higher insurance thing is a myth. It was thought that red will make police notice you more, so it increased the chances of you getting a ticket.
Not in all states Cream . My red cost more to insure . Many insurance companies charge more for red cars due to frequent accidents . A fact in my state .

Gotcha. I guess it's a state thing. I only spoke based upon previous experiences with Geico, Allstate, AAA, USAA, Progressive, State Farm etc, and from overhearing and helping customers secure car insurance.
But I was living in Texas, NC, LA, and IL when I sold cars so you're right, I'm not familiar with that policy in other states.
