Lent starts on Wednesday and I've been thinking about giving up Facebook and alcohol.  I also want to start meditating and going to church more.  I don't know how the alcohol thing is going to work since my birthday is during that time.Cry

Speaking of which, some Baptist churches (at least a large one here) encourage the congregation to fast from something during this time. I dont know if they call it Lent, and it's not mandatory and no cross placed on the forehead or anything.
