Okay. I know this is a long shot but this is my last resort..

For about 2 years I have had recurring episodes of acne. It is isnt the conventional type where it hurts and comes to a head and pops. (sorry for the gross detail)  it starts off like small tiny red water plugs. If I pop the water plug, it then comes fills up with a little pus and dries up and itches a bit too. I think it sometimes spreads to other parts of my face too if irritated. It is like a heat rash but large in size. it started off on mostly my cheeks but now it is also between my eyebrows.

I went to the derm and they passed it off as acne and clogged pores. One last doctor mentioned it as a fungus but he wasn't too sure.

I have noticed that is often near to my cycle.

Just throwing it out there to see if anyone experienced this.

that doesnt sound like acne to me more like a type of eczema or allergy. when are going wrong with me i usually check my diet and do a complete overhall. i'd also look into soaps and detergents.

yeah that sounds like an allergy to me. maybe try cutting dairy out of your diet for about a month and see what happens. or maybe you have a hormone imbalance, birth control may help with that.

Never pop anything on your face. The puss inside gets out can cause more bumps to pop up on other areas of you face it touches.

That's the best advice I have. I think the forum posted will give some great insight for you.

do you know how hard that is!?

any ways I went to the derm.. and she prescribed me some oral medication called minocycline and tazorac which is a topical ointment.. One cleans and cures from the inside... the other cleans and cures from the outside.

I've never had serious acne problems but for whatever reason I was breaking out...
The minocycline seems to work well... and I only used the tazorac once but my face is clear and I havent had any breakouts since.
