Ok girls, I want to gain 10lbs. I went on to my best friend ever (GOOGLE) and asked it how much calories I should consume to gain 10lbs!
The answer:

One pound of fat contains 3,500 calories of stored energy. One pound of muscle contains 2,500 calories, according to go-to bodybuilding advice book "Brawn."

Gaining 10 Pounds

To gain 10 pounds of fat, you need to eat an extra 35,000 calories. To gain 10 pounds of muscle, you need 25,000 extra calories.

Exercise

In practice, you need to eat more calories than the raw representation in order to reach your weight gain goals. Because muscle weight gain, the only healthy weight gain, requires exercise, you'll need to account for the exertion. Add your average caloric burn from your workout sessions to the 25,000 calories to determine your actual needed intake.

I dunno how many calories I burn when I workout.
Also I found this:

Considerations

If you're going to add calories to your diet with any high-calorie supplement, make sure you get enough exercise to avoid putting on fat instead of muscle. This way you can increase lean body mass while reducing overall fat level, as explained by the President's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports.

If I work out, it will be muscle. If I do nothing, it will be fat gain. Either way it is a win-win situation, since I am looking skinnier by the minute Confused
I was so used to the somewhat curvier figure I gained with those 4lbs lost and the inch of booty lost.
The only good thing is that my waist is down one inch, to 25"!

The protein shake that I take is Cytogainer; it has 280 (2 scoops) or 570 (4 scoops) calories, 27g/54g of protein and it is low in saturated fat, with 3.5 grams.

I was thinking in maybe taking cytogainer 2x a day on the days I work out and then take it once a day on the days I don't.
I used to take it only on the days I worked out (back in November I went to the gym 3x a week) and I gained 4lbs - and sometimes I took it only once a day!

Adults who exercise with the goal of adding muscle mass need twice the amount of protein as adults who live sedentary lifestyles. Your daily recommended allowance as a gym goer rises from 0.4 g per pound of body weight to 0.8 g.

Twisted...you clearly are not taking enough protein.
Yesterday I took cytogainer before working out and wow!, what a difference it made on my mood: I was much more active and excited to work out then I usually am.
Then when I got back I drank another one with two scoops. I don't think I can take it with four

I'm back to two scoops now and I'm picking up weight again.. i can't do four either..

I'm not working out i just use the slendertone for my booty and its helping me fill out nicely.

i need to find some workouts for my belly. i always start and end up stoppin cuz i get bored with them..

i need to find a good gym but one that has a daycare i don't think i can afford it though..

I might do a search..maybe i will get lucky

so many years later I'm still at it, just know that the struggle is real out here. anyway i started another blog that i thought you'd ladies would be interested in. i hope gain30 doesn't mind, that's the name of the blog. seemed perfect only b/c that's about how many lbs i wanted to gain. so anyway here's the link http://gains30.blogspot.com/

i do have starting pics of me at 110 lbs but when i started to gain weight i was actually 108 lbs, i lost 2 lbs; so there's a 12 lb gain so far. anyway hope you ladies enjoy or are inspired in some way.
