We're having southern food :) but our whole event is southern themed. 

I'm so excited to eat. We're having elegantly presented comfort foods :)

we wrote everything. I gave him the script.  Certain things we didn't want to be said that are used at most weddings. There were only 2(?) things that he said he had to say by law but the rest we re-wrote.

How much did you spend total on your wedding?  Whatever the rings cost, that was all.  We got married at church and since we are members there was no fee.
  
In your opinion are cash bars tacky? Cash bars are practical.  I rather give a couple cash and know that they will use it indefinately, than purchase a wine set that collects dust in a cabinet somewhere.  I like to know that what I give a person they will be able to use and make the most out of it.  Now how you present your cash bar....wishing well etc is another story.
 
Is 10k (all inclusive-including open bard) a rip off? or a steal? You can get it cheaper by using independent vendors, and doing most things yourself or with the help of friends and family.
