cash bar = tacky.
10k is a steal. if its not a small wedding, you're probably being cheap.
ice sculptures are usually gaudy and ugly. it can work, but i don't like it.
the more weddings i go to, the more i want. |

How much did you spend total on your wedding?
If you aren't married yet how much do you think you will spend on your wedding?
In your opinion are cash bars tacky? yes.
Is 10k (all inclusive-including open bard) a rip off? or a steal? for 250 people that is a great deal. That includes food and drink, correct? What about the table setting, et.c? Does it include the staff?
Also, is the food plated or buffet?
how do you feel about ice sculptures and such? |
those can be cute.

Spoken: that includes the food, the ballroom for 4 hours, the cake, a DJ, staff to serve guests, 4 rooms for the night and a set amount of alcohol.
if we do the open bar i think it'll be about 1500 more. i guess that's not too bad
@Samone, my bff is the wedding planner but she is about to get fired.
if i go with this venue, a wedding planner is also included in the price.

that is a great deal. I would go ahead and throw in the extra 1500. You want your guests to have a great time and not have to spend money on drinks.
