Lol IMO the success of a braidless sewin really depends on how close the extensions match your hair. Whether you're relaxed or natural. Depending on your natural texture a braidless sewin could be trouble. I'm a 4a/b now in my case the thought of all my hair out plus added hair and the base of the wefts being attached to is just thread brings only horror to mind at all the tangling I would be prone to. If you're relaxed it should be easier to deal with as long as you're hair is in pretty good condition. If you're relaxed you should get a texture that is close to your relaxed hair even when your relaxed starts to grow out or else in about 6 weeks when your relaxer isn't as fresh you might find yourself applying more and more heat to your hair to get it to blend.

A lot of breakage from the way the thread is laced through my hair? I
haven't had a lot of problems with breakage when I usually get a sew-in,
but this would definitely be different. If I knew for a fact that I can
get a partial sew-in, that left out my edges and top, and could still
pull my hair back into a nice tight (and high) bun, I'd just do that.

I'll be at the outlet one of those days! | Lawd those outlets are evil. I always tell myself some foolishness like oh I only need maybe 2 pairs of shoes and a bag. I've yet to leave that place with only 2 pairs of shoes and a bag.

Yeah, I think you're right. I've been going back and forth over this for about a week and I really don't think it'll be best to do it. I'll be relaxed and my hair is usually a 1B, but I wanted to do something a bit different with my hair. A full sew in or partial sew in may be the way I go. I just hope my stylist didn't learn for nothing.

| There are lots of stylists that do that nowadays. Where are you located??? I know of great stylists in every area but my own.

I am in Southern Oklahoma. I used to go to one girl until she got pregnant & they put her on bed rest and now I go to someone else I've known for a while. She's really good about putting my extensions and everything in. I'm going to talk to her tomorrow and ask her about the full/partial sew-in. Hopefully she isn't too pissed.

Lol hey business is business. She probably won't be because she doesn't have to be stressed out about doing a new technique for the first time.

Next step is to get the hair. I'm not getting my hair done until March, so I probably won't go out of town to get it until February. I'm hoping this shop she told me about has what I'm looking for. What's the best brand besides Remy? I know it's ideal to get Remy to keep the tangling and shedding to a minimum, but idk if I'll have Remy money.

Hi ladies! How often do you have to get your closure readjusted? I keep going back & forth about getting one for my next install. Do the pros outweighs the cons with closures?
