Now for some New Year Pre-PICS….
I know I told yall last week that I was doing a little experimenting on my own… Well I’m just about to complete my install today hopefully, so I thought I would share what I have done so far. I want to color the hair, but I'm going to wait to do so at this time... So far... I'm all smiles...
I had some Peruvian body wave in my stash that I have not been able to find a matching closure. Since my natural kinks will not blend, I decided to get in the kitchen and make some magic happen…
This is what I started with….
I braided both bundles into small plaits and foiled the ends. I did rolled the ended with tiny rods. (not pictured)

I then boiled the braided bundles on low heat for 4 hours. I did add conditioner and EVOO to my water. Once I removed water from heat, I drained the excess water. While still hot, I apply a One-n-Only curly perm. Processed for 30 minutes using no heat and neutralized. I allowed the braids to air dry all day. But because I was anxious to see the results, I did place in a covered hooded dryer for about 1 hour for extra drying and to help set the hair…
Well here is what I got:
