*nasty person post*  i only wash fruits/veggies and seafood.  what are you attempting to wash off of the meat?  i mean i don't care whether ppl do it or not so im not sure why the thread would get heated but what r u really doing?

Wonderland i swear that thread got heated cause of post made my jamiroquailover (she was subsequently banned and her posts went ghost) re-reading it now its rather tame. we also got introduced to the Haitian way of washing chicken

oh, i've never read that particular thread but wasnt there a thread on something similar where jewels and snoep went at it and ricky and afro or somebody? there were like 4 different arguments going on and the thread was over 60 pages long.
it may have gotten deleted but i think it was earlier this year

I remember that. I don't think any of those arguments were over meat LOL

IA though, you're not really accomplishing anything by washing before cooking. But some people said that meat that was washed tasted differently.
