this thread has potential

to answer OP, if i'm getting ready to cook or if there is someone in both bathrooms yes, otherwise i truck my booty to the bathroom to wash my hands.

If i had my own place i wouldnt want guests or my kids to wash their hands in my kitchen sink

I think for the most part this is a cultural thing.
So I don't get it but I do things others don't get either.
But really you're washing chicken in the sink and if you have a garbage disposal ...

I do remember my mama not liking me to wash my hands in the sink and making me go to the bathroom
I tend to go to the bathroom bc it seems right but the other way isn't really wrong like I'm not flat out disgusted like some are trying to be,

Growing up, my grandma would not allow it.

In my house, I wash my hands in the kitchen sink, although I do disinfect the entire sink area once a week.

I dont see why it would be a problem as long as there isnt any dishes in the sink.
