Is there a certain way that silk tops should be washed? Hot or cold water? Someone told me that you can't use hot water because the silk will wrinkle? I'm asking this because I've been using Got2be as my source to hold down my unit instead of tape or glue...and the only way to remove the gel is through soaking it in hot water. Any suggestions?

Tepid or lukewarm water and wash it on your mannequin head. I haven't used g2b for hold before but maybe you can use adhesive remover or spray the unit with water rather than soak it.  Why not use the elastic band method? That way you don't have to worry about any residues.

You can use a toothbrush and use it tab and brush the residue off just the hair line of the unit.

I had been playing with different methods to see what I liked best. I broke down and got more elastic bands..I was trying to stay as far away from Walmart as I could...Lol
