is that okay to do, I normally would wait a week, but I have to do something tomorrow and want a fresh relaxer. I'm 5.5 months post. I based my scalp about an hour ago and I want to wait about 2 more hours before I relax it, should it be fine?

well I did it and did not burn at all. I use Ors no lye, extra strength. This is my second time using this relaxer with no problems. I'm about to go wash it out and all that jazz.

I would not recommend doing that if you can help it. if you absolutely have to, please grease your scalp and already permed hair really really really really well. then pray like hell you dont get burned. lol

Relaxer should be applied prior to washing. The natural oils already on your scalp help to protect the skin from burning. I would suggest basing the scalp really well before application.

Everything turn out fine, I can comb with ease now lol. I will say that my hair is a full bsl now, as you can see one side is slighter longer than the other, been that way for years. It's more texlaxed than relaxed, but I'm satisfied. I don't flat iron my hair so I took a wet pic.

you think so lol, on the picture it's actually weighed down with a lot of conditioner (doesn't look like it), but I like to judge my hair when it's dry and naturally it shrinks a little when try, but I'll take it lol. And yes I based my scalp really really well. I didn't burn and I have no scabs, achy scalp etc. I think it had more to do with the relaxer.
