8 hours ago, I put a mixture of developer (30 & 40) and hair color on my "virgin hair" that the seller dyed color 1. It's still on there and the color hasn't lifted at all.

What do I do? Color 1 is too harsh on me! :'( I contacted the seller asking why it won't lift and if it's virgin but they said

Yes , our hair is virgin hair .

But only natural color can be dye .

If you want to dye the hair color by yourself , pls tell me in adavance ,then i will supply the natural color for you

For your next order ,i will give you the natural color

Welll if it's virgin hair that was dyed. it should be able to lift right? Should I try developer and bleach? I've seen youtube tuts that say to put developer on and leave it on for about 3 hours, but it's been over 8!

The hair is no longer virgin after the vendor dye . You can try bleach , but i would only leave on for a short time to avoid over processing . Make sure you deep con the hair to avoid Tangles .

I would do a good deep condition and next time try to lift with paul mitchell developer in a 40. I've seen people go blonde with it without using bleach.

They use fabric dye not hair dye so in order to lift it you're gonna have to use hair bleach. You MAY be able to dip it in boiling water to remove some of the color but I doubt if it all will come out.

Bleaching for a few minutes is probably your best bet.

Girl they used that skrong dye...I hate when they do that. You can never lift or bleach knots on the color they use. Always Always ask for natural color hair so you can lift and dye as you please with a box color or semi perm color.

well maybe your hair is different than most people's hair...you're lucky! But don't dye it that much, you'll end up damaging your hair!
