Hi All you beautiful ladies

Just a question. Being in South-Africa I can get my hands on Velcro rollers only. Ive been using these for a long time. The only problem with these are that when I take them out I have a lot of hair left on the rollers. So what I do is I wash, condition and put a leave in conditioner on as well as TCB Bonestraight (dont know it yall know this product). Section and roll. I dont wanna pull to hard but when I dont my hair comes out thick where the new growth is. Im transitioning to texlax. Its new cause I always relaxed bonestraight.

Does velcro rollers work for anyone here or just give me your views on these. This is my attempt to not use heat or to minumize the use of it. Tried airdrying but my ends look a bit dry and break off. Please can you guys help.

Hey girl, give us a chance to wake up first! LOLLOL I do use Velcro rollers, but only for quick styling.  I loosen the pin curls I sleep in and then use the Velcro rollers to give my style a bit more shape.  I put them in before I shower and then take them out after the steam in the shower helps to set my hair.

They don't take out my hair because my hair doesn't have to wind around the roller.  My hair is shorter now.  If you hair is longer and you have to wind it around the roller, it will pull it out.  If you can't find plastic rollers, for the time being, wrap the Velcro roller with an end paper and then secure it with a metal clip to keep your hair from being pulled by the rollers.  This will help while you look for plastic rollers.  Good luck!!
