They can say what they want as but long as Alec Wek looks like she currently does and every example used for the DS aging process has plastic surgery......I reserve the right to respond. |
most folks here dont have money to splurge on PS, or simply dont think its that serious...and based on actual people that i see everyday, I have to go with darker folks, no matter how harsh their lifestyles, tend to look better at the same age as much lighter people. thats what i see

I agree, aging means looking older (or your age). Some sooner than others.

Of course science can be said. Shade though? That's different. The original comment was not, "melanin can prevent...." It was, "let me use this opportunity to shade light butts."
I'm not messy (on here). I'm not trying to get likes, thumbs up, accolades. I just want black people to not repeat the same mistakes for the next century. We keep saying what needs to happen, but then we don't do anything when it's right in our face.
I read a story by a black author talking about boycotting stores that didn't hire blacks in Harlem in the 1940s. He said we got what we wanted, but then we started arguing about whether light or dark skin blacks should b hired. Everything that we worked for, stopped. Why oh why in 2014 are we still doing this? It's not entertaining, especially on BLACK hair media.
I'm not snapping, I'm typing passionately. |

Yes. Emotions. I have them. I express them.
