Atleast you can chew gum as you please without fear of getting a ticket and walk anywhere without covering your hair/face.  Don't act brand new here--its a fact women have fewer freedoms in muslim countries then anywhere else.

I would love to go. Especially after my brother told me about the shopping lol when he was stationed there for over a year. However he did say they were really strict. He mentioned that woman during the day was covered up totally. Then catch some of them at the night clubs. Totally night and day.

Guys calm yo tits ..Dubai isn't anything as strict as Saudi Arabia , ESP these days ummm kanye west just did a concert there. Cough cough Dubai had loads of clubs and isn't in my opinion much of a Muslim country that follows sharia law so keep the biased stereotypes out because Dubai is nothing like that. You do not need to walk around covering yourself if you are woman. Also since your a visitor you won't be treated harshly they love tourists.
