I bought a U Part once and wore it about 2 times. I want another for a special occasion. I LIKE them and feel they are just as natural as a weave but less damaging.

everyone doesn't wear 24 inches of brazilian wavy. Some people like ponytails, what's wrong with that, some people like half up half down styles. Everyone wants likes different things about installs, no need to question what other people do, just keep doing you Smile

Duh, that's why weaveologists exist...so people can try different things! LOL

But on a serious note people are not equal and want options.

I've seen so many damaged ad balding napes from these "new" weave trends its not a style someone should constantly do or maybe their hair was already damaged Ouch. If i could find a so called weaveologist who knew what they were doing and wasn't trying to take my rent money I would probably try it too though ehh now im just rambling

Women been wearing weave for decades now. It just started really being noticed and talked about over the past 10 years since almost everybody wanna say they wearing it as a protective style. I do not care what anyone does with their it is their choice long as they are comfortable. What I do have a problem with is women that just will not admit they love the way they look in weave better then there natural hair. If you wear weave out in public more then you wear your real hair then you are not doing it as protection you just love your weave and nothing wrong with that but admit it.

Now don't get me wrong. If I was a stylist I woul make sure I could master Each and every one of these styles. But I personally don't understand. The high ponytail I understand more than the being able to part you hair down the middle and across the head. But honestly when I see people do high ponytails they still require sometime of scarf or headband to keep their real hair up in the back because it isn't aslong as the weave. I guess versatility is the reason. But sometimes it seems like people starting to think these weaves growing from their scalps Lol.
