I was curious about where the Caribbean fell in terms of HIV rates world wide.  Turns out Latin America/Carribbean countries are second behind Africa in terms of HIV prevalence.

Figure 2: HIV Prevalence & Incidence by Region 1, 5
Region Total No. (% Living with HIV), 2012 Newly Infected, 2012 Adult Prevalence Rate, 2012
Global Total 35.3 million (100%) 2.3 million 0.8%
Sub-Saharan Africa 25.0 million (71%) 1.6 million 4.7%
South/South-East Asia 4.0 million (11%) 270,000 0.3%
Latin America 1.5 million (4%) 86,000 0.4%
Eastern Europe/Central Asia 1.3 million (4%) 130,000 0.7%
North America 1.3 million (4%) 48,000 0.5%
Western/Central Europe 860,000 (2%) 29,000 0.2%
East Asia 880,000 (2%) 81,000 <0.1%
Middle East/North Africa 260,000 (0.7%) 32,000 0.1%
Caribbean 250,000 (0.7%) 12,000 1.0%
Oceania 51,000 (0.1%) 2,100 0.2%
  • Sub-Saharan Africa. Sub-Saharan Africa, the hardest hit region, is home to 71% of people living with HIV but only about 12% of the world’s population.1, 9 Most children with HIV live in this region (88%).5Cry Almost all of the region’s nations have generalized HIV epidemics—that is, their national HIV prevalence rate is greater than 1%. In 8 countries, 10% or more of adults are estimated to be HIV-positive. South Africa has the highest number of people living with HIV in the world (4.3 million). Swaziland has the highest prevalence rate in the world (24.8%). Recent data offer promising signs, with national HIV prevalence and/or incidence stabilizing or even declining in many countries in the region.1
  • Latin America & The Caribbean. About 1.6 million people are estimated to be living with HIV in Latin America and the Caribbean combined, including 98,000 newly infected in 2012. The Caribbean itself, with an adult HIV prevalence rate of 1%, is the second hardest hit region in the world after sub-Saharan Africa. Seven countries in Latin America and the Caribbean have generalized epidemics, with the Bahamas having the region’s highest prevalence rate (3.4-3.5%), and Brazil the greatest number of people living with the disease.1
  • Eastern Europe & Central Asia. An estimated 1.3 million people are living with HIV in this region, including 130,000 newly infected in 2012. The epidemic is driven primarily by injecting drug use, although heterosexual transmission also plays an important role. The Russian Federation and Ukraine have the highest prevalence rates in the region, and Russia has the region’s highest number of people living with HIV.1

Florida is fukced up in the game because people down here just have this sense of invincibility, like they don't think it can happen to them.Because they don't think it can happen to them, they make reckless, poor decisions.

I can't tell you how many times my friends and I used to meet men in the club who'd offer to go down on you the first night they met you before you even told them your name(part of the reason I stopped kissing lol). Can't tell you how many times a dude thought he would run up in one of us raw, on some "I can tell you a good girl, you ain't even out here like that" bull.

I can count on one hand the number of times someone has actually asked to see my most recent results. I'd definitely need more hands than that to tell you the amount of times a nicca has been disappointed cuz I refused to move any further or see him again cuz he thought he was getting bare guts.

I even had one idiot tell me the coochie smells a certain way when women let men bust in them, and he knows mine doesn't smell like that . Needless to say, I had my girl call me with an "emergency" to escape that nicca.

ive been looking at this chart for like 5 minutes and still those numbers arent all that frightening.  they need another approach maybe a zoomed in and more targeted view of HIV.
