Anyone have advice about getting kids to sleep through the night?
He's still fairly newborn so he's probably waking up because he's hungry. Those baby's don't play about milk, they don't care what time it is
Are you breast feeding? That can contribute a lot to him waking up during the night as well. Breast milk is a lot thinner and more digestible than formula, so they get hungry more. Formula stays in their belly a bit longer so they're satisfied for longer through the night, even though it isn't as good as breast milk.
I remember mcleewife (sp?) said she didn't let her baby nap too much during to day...no longer than like 20 minutes I believe, and when she put him down at night he slept through the night. I believe he was a bit older than your baby though when she started this. Like 3-4 months I think? Once he was past the "sleep all the time" phase.
