but as for the industrial revolution ... there's an evolution ... after the peak of the industrial revolution without checks in place, monopolies, oligarchy, price fixing, speculation, environmental damage, worker's rights, consumer protection would erode the progress made
and if an emerging economy is resource rich and capital poor (which is often the case) ... they will be taking advantage of by free market concepts ... which we've seen time and again
as for present day china ... is not a true free market system, their economic reform policy is still socialist market economy ... they are deliberately taking a metered approach trying to avoid the disaster Russia found itself in, when it moved to market capitalism (which they never recovered from)
I believe in capitalism but to sustain growth, quality of life for the majority, protect the environment, checks have to be in place
imo
| LMFAO you really have no idea what you're talking about. Sounds like you sat in on a session of the Barack Obama school of Econ It's one thing to give your opinion but when you have Hoover, Austrian and Chicago schoolyard saying the exact opposite of what you're saying, you need to have several seats The sh*t you wrote, and it's a very stinky piece of sh*t might I add, doesn't even deserve a rebuttal. Don't quit your day job jr.

Because that's not her "opinion." We've had this discussion before in other threads. She incorrectly takes that as fact when the data says otherwise

Church's chicken is too greasy. Fried chicken in general is really overrated. If it's not homemade, I usually don't want to eat it. Olive Garden is freaking delicious- no matter what the haters say. I'm all for body positivity - but some people are just not cute and would benefit from drastic weight loss. Not everyone is beautiful. There are genuinely ugly people in this world, and I think it'd be more beneficial to teach that you can still be happy and successful if you're ugly, rather than this "everyone's beautiful" bs.
