do you all have cornrows? if not, what do you do to keep everything flat underneath? I am natural and have been doing cornrows when I wear wigs, but I am tired of that. I'd like the option to just go out with my fro when I feel like it, without having to undo-redo cornrows.

I have to wear cornrows because that is the only way my wig will lay down flat.

My hair is relaxed. I wrap my hair & wear a stocking cap.

Yeah, I've been doing cornrows for two years- after Big Chop. Just this weekend I decided to try other styles. Right now my hair is long enough so I can paddle brush into two low puff pigtails. Then I braid the end of the pigtails. The top of my head is super flat!
It's working out for me. Instead of two hours to braid my hair, it took 10 minutes.
