I was about to ask if these exist, but I forgot I know some people who went to one in Oklahoma for basketball

SMC in SC has a good "relationship" with the 4 year schools in the state. Everyone that I know who went did very well when they transitioned to a 4 year school. Pretty much the same in a way

If she's talking about junior colleges, then yeah. Go for it. I know plenty of people who did two years at junior colleges as residents.

One of the 2 yr schools here had resident opt at one of its campuses and ur housing was free if u were a 4.0 student and discounted if u had a 3.5+
