Hi girls,

I was suffering with acne on and off for about a 2 years now, and I dont want anyone else to waste their time and money on products that don't work.... I've used numerous of products ranging from clinque, proactive, dermalogica, lancome, clean and clear, clearasil, garnier, neutrogena and many moreeee all would seem to work for a bit or make it worse.

So ..... the to ingredients which HELPED ME BIG TIME is:

1) Apple Cider Vinegar
2) Coconut oil

:)

SIMPLE.

My regime would be (if anyone interested read the following):

1. Would wake up in the morning and cleanse my face with dove soap, because for some reason it doesnt irrittate and dry out my skin (i know soap is harsh... but for some reason it just works for me) :)

2. Spray/Dab my Apple Cider Vinegar toner (basically a bottle which is made with 50% water and 50% ACV..... if its too acidic just add a little more water) :) If you have dry skin like me, then you could just use this toner on your affected AREAS only :)

3. Then the most relaxing part .... once the toner dries out a bit, you may apply a little bit of coconut oil as your moisturiser and thats it! :)

NO FUSS, all natural and oh so good for your skin..... I did this for 3 weeks and my acne left me for good :) I didn't have severe acne... but it was pretty bad with the breakouts.

Also one more thing, when you wash your face with warm water make sure you end with a cold splash of water to close your pores before applying the toner :)

I ALSO use the coconut oil as my make up remover, there's no alcohol or harsh chemicals.

why coconut oil works? is because its a natural anti-bacterial due to lauric acid. Make sure to use organic virgin coconut oil which may find it in your organic or health food shops.

why Apple Cider Vinegar? it balances your skin ph levels and also has some good vitamins like vitamin C which is awesome for breakouts and skin renewal :)

I use coconut oil on my scalp...I'm kinda scared to use it on my face, though. I have really oily skin.

You used coconut oil that was in oil or solid form?

Thanks for sharing though! I love using ACV on my skin. I don't dilute it though b/c my skin is super oily.

Coconut oil is too oily for my skin, but I use it on my hair too.

I have been using a ACV mix (ACV, lemon juice and green tea) and it cleared up my break outs and some of the dark spots in about 2-3 days. I wish I knew about it stuff years ago when I was a teen. I could connect the dots on my forehead.

^ I'm going to try your ACV mix. Sounds good, especially if it worked in 2-3 days.

Some may use the coconut oil and have more breakouts. Coconut oil is too rich for some acne prone skin like me. If you google coconut oil it is high on the comedogenic list. But some may use it without any issues. I love it in my shake ;)...

I am the same way.  I really gave coconut oil the college try but damn I was harvesting some monster zits.
