the flight attendants need to get their act together. the questions/comments they made were inappropriate. they could've left it at nice makeup and moved on. they need to be reprimanded by their superiors.
the passengers could've filed a formal complaint mentioning how they felt embarrassed, discriminated against, insulted or what have you. causing a scene and taking off your clothes in response to being talked to like an ass and causing is not the "correct" response --- man or woman. get a better coping strategy ladies...
however, the cops can't have it both ways. either you're going to arrest the passengers for exposing themselves (their breasts) as women or you consider them men jail material and cut em loose because no law has been broken.
the cops should also be reprimanded and both them and the airline consider themselves lucky if they're not sued for possible discrimination.
eta: special provisions need to be made for the arrest and detainment of transgendered persons. no one deserves to be placed in an environment which could be deemed a threat to their safety. whether that solution be housing with other transgender individuals or isolation, the system needs to get with the times.
