As the other ladies stated please let me know what you think of her work, although I have seen the website I wasn't really sure because I've had my eyes on another salon, seeing as how I've known several people to rave about it and they have a website with excellent pics. The only problem is that they are off of 59, closer to Sugarland/Stafford area, and that's a little to far for me, pm me if any of you ladies would like the web address.

Don't freak out yet there are plenty of stylist that do hair and do it well. When it comes to doing frontal w/ sew in thats where the issue starts. Cali does have quite a few sistas there with money that will do whatever it takes to look good here most women are ballas on a budget. So the demand for the latest and greatest weave technics may not be so high. It all depends on what you want done. |
i have also come to realize that because you pay high dollar for someone to do your hair dosen't necessairly mean that it is going to be better. I have paid the 'around the way girl" $40.00 to do my weave all the way up to $200.00 for the "weave specialist" and have been disappointed on both ends....so I've learned to just go by results...there are plenty of females at my college that do weaves...that are off the hook and you don't have to pay a car note to get it done!

Lastly we have a lady named Janet who reps a hair replacement co. called New Concepts. 713-520-6331
Stylist: Janet
Num:713-520-6331
There is a guy named Roy of RB International 713-522-7171 He can do the bomb sew-ins. I had him do a frontal and a sew-in. I love the sew-in part but the frontal is suspect now it could be due to the fact that it is too small but....the front just isn't up to par.
Owner/stylist: Roy
Num:713-522-7171
She wears wigs and uses Endura Bond and Airtape as adhesive. She works in Salons in the Park Off of Westhimer. Did not get a chance to see her style any hair.
Owner/stylist: Cathy
Num:713-918-9847
Num:832-882-9048
*Keep in mind most of these stylist perfer that you have an initial consultation before the service takes place.
Good luck H-town chicks and please update this if more info is known.
I am going to pay Keshia a visit today when my hair arrives. Janet on Tuesday and Mrs.Flake some time in btw. I'll keep you all posted

Looking forward to hearing your evaluations. My sister is supposed to be helping me take down my hair today and I ordered my hair yesterday. I'll be trying to get mine done sometime before New Year's Eve.

Thank you ladies for this information. I'm new to Houston and have been looking for a hairstylist, especially one that can do bomb weaves, I'm used to getting my weaves done in L.A. so they have to be on that level and I know there are some hairstylists in Houston that can do some bomb weaves. By the way I am a licensed hairstylist and can do my own but I am tired of it, so I can tell if someone doesn't quite know what they are doing.
Thanks again for the info keep it coming and I will also share any info I run across!
