Topic: OK WHAT IS THE SECRET Posted: Oct 17 2006 at 9:26pm |
I am looking at all of these Fokti's and these weaves are tight. How are you getting your own hair to lay down flat and blend in so well.
I have been getting full weaves because when I have gotten a partial, my own hair sticks up before the end of the day.
SPILL it lady, what is the secret.

I believe the secret is in the cornrows. Alot of ladies here where liquid gold, but for those who have sewins the key is small, flat cornrows!

1. The right hair.
2. the right cornrow pattern
3. A stylist who knows what she is doing (it may be you).

And some of us wear LG/Vapon and it is even flatter.
So it depends on what you want. I wish I can wear sew-in, but does not do well for me at all. Major breakage so I gave up!

Check Folica.com. You can find great deals on all types of Flatirons over there. I recieved an email today from them and they are offering a special on the Sedu Irons TODAY ONLY. You will get free gifts with purchase and also free shipping I believe. I use the HAI Copper Tourmaline and I also have the HAI Stix..both are great... I purchased the HAI stix from Folica and the Hai Copper Tourmaline from MetroBeauty.com...and they are good irons too.
I've heard great things about the SEDU here though..so you may want to check out Folica Today....HTH

Small cornrows, leave as little hair out as possible and get a good flat iron. Also get this product, it's called Satin Crème Press by Ultra Sheen. Slather a bunch on, on the hair you leave out, like your buttering bread and then flat iron it with a hot flat iron, kinda' let it melt into your hair.. It leaves your real hair so shiny and straight. I turned a coworker on to it and she just about kissed me the other day.
