I feel like Chicago style pizza is overrated and not really pizza. It's moreso a pizza casserole.

Best local pizza is GRPD

Scuze you miss?..lol.. I think Giordano's  in Chicago is over rated. Its flavorless. But lou malnattis and pizzeria uno ( or duo) has is really good deep dish. Italian fiesta is a local hood pizzeria with a few chains on the south side of chicago, but its very good.

Its true ! I mean it can be good but its still a casserole.lol

A place called John and Joes. I like extra cheese (really don't need to ask for it) and shrimp.

Yes, They can make them without cheese.
I'm so jealous, there's no Zachary's in SoCal. Also try Ikes Sandwiches in Downtown Oakland.

I used to love Pizza King on 55th St. I had some years ago and was oh so disappointed. It was just awful.

Gino's East fell off too. Especially that one across the street from Northwestern Hospital.

I liked Donatos. Now I like Ledo's. But today, I was so hungry so I stopped at Lil Ceasar's for their lunch special. That deep dish pizza was ridiculously delicious. The cheese was on point. I guess it helps that it was freshly made too.
