I would certainly not "promote" them. I would rather my son not act like a girl, therefore I'd raise him as  a boy. So no, i would not be buying tutus and tiaras for him. He can do what he wishes when he gets older

I wouldn't do anything. My daughter loves race cars, soccer (which she rightly calls football) and super heroes (not the ones in skirt). She also "likes" the little boy who shares her table at school and another little boy who we see at the bus stop sometime.

i wonder if blaque is saying the lack of of a male household lead results in boys not behaving and misinterpreting that manhood = hypermasculinity

i just want to clarify that a woman led household =/= an absent male father figure
