Give God Thanks
Good Morning Sisters and Brothers,
I hope and pray that all is with you and your family. Start your day
with God by being thankful. Always give God thanks. Let Jesus know
just how much you really appreciate Him, just for Him being Lord of all.
“And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you
were called in one body. And be thankful.” – (Colossians 3:15 ESV) So
be encouraged this morning and thank God for another opportunity to
make a difference in your area of influence.
Challenge of the day: Always display just how
thankful you are to God about what He is doing in your life. Adore and
appreciate what God is doing around you. “Let the word of Christ dwell
in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom,
singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your
hearts to God.” – (Colossians 3:16 ESV)

Let's Just Praise the Lord |
Written by Pastor Leon
|
Let’s Just Praise the Lord Scripture: Psalm 34:1-3 “I will
bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my
mouth. 2 My soul shall make its boast in the LORD; the humble shall hear
of it and be glad. 3 Oh, magnify the LORD with me, And let us exalt His
name together.” I. Paul and Silas knew the secret of prayer and praise. Acts
16:22-30 “Then the multitude rose up together against them; and the
magistrates tore off their clothes and commanded them to be beaten with
rods. 23And when they had laid many stripes on them, they threw them
into prison, commanding the jailer to keep them securely. 24Having
received such a charge, he put them into the inner prison and fastened
their feet in the stocks. 25But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying
and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.
26Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the
prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and
everyone’s chains were loosed. 27And the keeper of the prison, awaking
from sleep and seeing the prison doors open, supposing the prisoners had
fled, drew his sword and was about to kill himself. 28But Paul called
with a loud voice, saying, “Do yourself no harm, for we are all here.”
29Then he called for a light, ran in, and fell down trembling before
Paul and Silas. 30And he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I
do to be saved?” A. They had done nothing wrong. Only delivered a demon possessed girl. B. At the dark hour of midnight when all seemed hopeless and lost. C. They used a two-fold weapon: prayer and praise. D. Their praise became a testimony. E. Their praise produced a shaking in the natural circumstances. II. We are called to praise and worship. I
Peter 2:5;9 “you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual
house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable
to God through Jesus Christ.” 9But you are a chosen generation, a
royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may
proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His
marvelous light;” A. We’re called regardless of the circumstances in our lives. B. Things may not be the way we need them to be but we are the children of light. III. It’s time to make an exchange. Isaiah
61:1-3 “The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, Because the LORD has
anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal
the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening
of the prison to those who are bound; 2 To proclaim the acceptable year
of the LORD, And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who
mourn, 3 To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for
ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit
of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The
planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.” A. Trade captivity for liberty. B. Trade your ashes for beauty. C. Trade your mourning for the oil of joy. D. Trade the spirit of heaviness for the garment of praise. IV. Praise ushers in His presence. Psalm 22:3 “But You are holy, Enthroned in the praises of Israel.” A. As we praise Him, He sets His throne in the midst of His people. B. From His throne He makes declarations, issues decrees and proclamations. C. Bring your situation before His throne that He might make His judgment on your behalf. V. Let’s just praise the Lord. Psalm
150 “Praise the LORD! Praise God in His sanctuary; Praise Him in His
mighty firmament! 2 Praise Him for His mighty acts; Praise Him according
to His excellent greatness! 3 Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet;
Praise Him with the lute and harp! 4 Praise Him with the timbrel and
dance; Praise Him with stringed instruments and flutes! 5 Praise Him
with loud cymbals; Praise Him with clashing cymbals! 6 Let everything
that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD!” http://www.bethesdabible.com/downloads/sermons/86-lets-just-praise-the-lord

Real worship involves: 1.Gratefulness for what God has done for us.
2.Reverence and respect for the Lord. The purpose of our worship is to please God. 3.Confidence and trust in the power of God. 4.Compliance to the Lord 5.Consistency – A daily walk with the Lord. It is an everyday affair, not just something that is done on Sunday. 6.Completeness
– the whole being of a person including his mind, emotions, and will. (“This people draws near to me with their mout hs and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.”) 7.Cleanness and a clear conscience
– our prayer should be, “Lord, keep me clean and

GIVE GOD GLORY ALWAYS!
Good Morning Sisters and Brothers,
I hope and pray that all is well with you and your family. Start
your day with God by glorifying God in all things! Lifting up the name
of Jesus even in your most cloudy moments, will surely determine your
state of mind during the entire process. Let go of the distractions and
focus on the mission.”You who fear the LORD, praise him! All you
offspring of Jacob, glorify him, and stand in awe of him, all you
offspring of Israel! ” (Ps 22:23 ESV) So be encouraged this morning and
step away from the mundane things and worship God like never before.
Challenge of the day: Shout where you are, dance why don’t you,
glorify God The Lord Most High! Praise Jesus for all things! Praise HIM
ALWAYS!”Blessed be the LORD from Zion, he who dwells in Jerusalem!
Praise the LORD! “(Ps 135:21 ESV)

Praise and Forgive.
Good Morning Brothers and Sisters,
I pray that you have great peace in your heart as you walk in the
love and forgiveness of the Lord Jesus Christ. Start your day with God
by learning to praise and forgive. Praise God for the strength to
forgive those who are mean to you. Praise God for the peace to forgive
those who have hurt you in your heart. Praise God for Jesus who died on
the cross for your sins and the sins of the Lord. Repent and forgive.
Live and love through praising God because He cares. “And my tongue
will talk of your righteous help all the day long, for they have been
put to shame and disappointed who sought to do me hurt.” (Ps 71:24 ESV)
So be encouraged and stay strong in the Lord and have peace in spite of
the hurt. Forgive and live a better day today.
Challenge of the day: Stand and bear witness to Christ with a heart to endure with peace and the ability to forgive and praise.
“If you do this, God will direct you, you will be able to endure, and
all this people also will go to their place in peace.” (Ex 18:23 ESV)

another one.... just because God deserves it and I am on a happiness-I-love-God-mode: PRAISE IS WHAT WE MUST DO.
Good Morning Brothers and Sisters,
I pray that your day is filled with the joy and peace of The Lord
Jesus Christ. Start your day with God by learning to praise The Lord in
advance as well as on a daily basis for what is about to take place in
and around your life. God knows and He sees because He truly does care
about all the things that are going on in and around your life. “May
the nations praise you, O God. Yes, may all the nations praise you.”
(Psalms 67:3 NLT) So be encouraged this morning and give God the glory
and praise just because, you know if it had not been for The Lord who
was and is on your side where in the world would you be.
Challenge of the day: Go ahead and give God your best praise
routinely!!!! “Hallelujah! It’s a good thing to sing praise to our God;
praise is beautiful, praise is fitting.” (Psalm 147:1 MSG)

PRAISE LIKE NEVER BEFORE
Good Morning Sisters and Brothers,
I hope and pray that all is well with you and your family. Start
your day with God by giving Him praise for all things. No matter what
you have been dealing with in life a sacrifice of praise to God will
strengthen you in the process. Let Jesus motivate you to praise and
encouragement. Allow Him to give you peace in the midst of storms in
your life. “I will be glad and exult in you; I will sing praise to your
name, O Most High. ” (Ps 9:2 ESV) So be encouraged this morning and
praise God all day every day.
Challenge of the day: Open your heart and mind to praise God at all
times. Let the praise prove your loyalty to God. “Sing praises to the
LORD, O you his saints, and give thanks to his holy name. “(Ps 30:4ESV)

No distractions, just praise!
Good Morning Sisters and Brothers,
I hope and pray that all is well with you and your family. Start
your day with God by not allowing anything or anyone to interrupt your
praise unto God. God deserves all of your attention and
distractions comes in all shapes, forms and yes even people. Stay
focused on Jesus Christ and watch how things with turn out for you. “1
Great is the LORD and greatly to be praised in the city of our God! His
holy mountain, 2 beautiful in elevation, is the joy of all the earth,
Mount Zion, in the far north, the city of the great King. ” (Ps 48:1-2
ESV) So be encouraged this morning and let God have your heart and all
of your attention when you are in your worship mode with God. No
distractions are allowed.
Challenge of the day: There is always time to praise God and do so
without distractions. Clear your mind and heart and let the praises of
The Lord flow without hesitation and compromise.
“Praise is due to you, O God, in Zion, and to you shall vows be performed. ” (Ps 65:1 ESV)
To God be the glory, many blessings and peace be unto you.
