You can store garlic in the fridge.  Just put it in a brown paper bag and it won't sprout.

I don't keep my fruits or veggies in the fridge.  I don't understand how folks wanna put bread in the fridge.  Taters go in the Tato bin. Bread on the shelf or bread box.  fruits and veggies in various bowls and baskets.  Besides...when your fruits and veggies are out it make your kitchen prettier and you want to eat them.

yes i was doing the most when i 1st came trying to keep the bread in a bread keeper like back @ home Ouch  trying to keep the tomatos/ onions/ potatos in the hanging wire 3 tier basket like back @ home Confused  after seeing this practice attracts the WRONG elements i got with it & now im good EVERYTHING goes in the fridge even chips ( didn't know its actually recommended to keep chips in the freezer ahhh yummy)LOL
