when I was a kid, my mom used to tell the best stories about churning butter back in the olden days when she was a child. I didn't understand how they could milk the cow, and sit milk out in the pantry room for a few days to wait for the cream to rise ... and it didn't spoil. lol

Years ago I made the switch to butta. Like many things that are delicious and unhealthy in life, moderation is key.Disapprove


Slightly OT: My friend told me about how bugs avoid margarine and that started the ball rolling.

I love butter.....maybe it the creole in me.....I buy 4 packs at a time.....I eat very little sugar and salt tho....

Real Butter was a part of my diet while on Atkins. Then I ditched it when I saw Paula Deen using so much of it (no joke). It literally made me sick to see her piling it on.

I know it's not the enemy, I am just a little turned off .

been planning to make my own croutons from now on since i eat a salad or 3 by itself or with my daily meals sooo i started researching recipes after lots of reading many people were saying in their recipes they use REAL BUTTER not margarine substitutes then as i went further wondering whats the big deal between real butter and margarine substitute i was stoked / shocked to see that MANY researchers advise NOT to put that crap in your mouth BUT now when i went to the store to purchase REAL BUTTER it's 4.00 for 4 sticks YIKESShocked  imma buy it though cause its worth itLOL
