What about television? They should do a test on watching television.

Anything that makes you think probably does this.
I'm willing to bet movies do the same thing if it impacts you.

Excellent Book Michelle Alexander really knows her stuff. I reached out to her after reading it and she was very receptive to my feedbackSmile

I was listening to a debate on youtube a few weeks ago, and one of the debaters said something to the effect of "stories are more realer than life. Fiction can be sometimes truer than non-fiction." And it sounded like the dumbest thing I've ever heard. But it's stuck with me for weeks. I find myself in the bathroom, taking a deuce, and thinking about that. I've been thinking about if "art imitates life" is really truer than life imitating art. Do we as people strive to do things or feel things based on the stories and religious books and movies and tv shows and other character arcs that we experience from as early as childhood.

This study adds another thinking point for me. I'll think about it later when I shower or have a sit down at the toilet. Big smile

just reading this comment made me think of a car accident i was in last year and my arm started throbbingLOL it happens every time.

Yesw= I wonder what that is? Confused When I tried to google info on it I couldn't find anything. I think your mind can have a profound, instantaneous effect on your body. That's what I think causes stigmata, personally.

its called body memory and i need mine to go away.  its kinda like when people have phantom pain in limbs they no longer have.

for a long time after one accident i had, where i injured my back, i would have back pain just sitting behind a wheel of a car.  it took me a while before i realized it was all in my head.

I kind of figured this.

The human brain is so dope. God is so dope.

But with how degenerative our society is in terms of mental development and learning, we are limiting our human evolution at large.
