However, I do not believe that you would do the same to your little-one.
I feel that you would talk to him/her and take away some stuff
Because you're close to my age...
I do not have time for CPS... showing up at my house @ my location MEH.
Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena hood not in 2014--- Meh

ND1, he does not say what--- anymore ---he's just extra now. However, he did say it in the past. He just out grew it.

I think and I was told he will out grow most of this $hit ... because I do not play...
I just let little things go. and Not make a BIG DEAL out of every little thing.
I will not show weakness to him.
He's smart.

out of pocket, rude, disrespectful and it rubs me the wrong way...I'm always correcting my Spanish students because they are used to saying "Que?" in their language that they do the same thing in English and it is just so stank. So I politely tell them how it is rude to respond in that manner and that it is better to say "excuse me" "repeat please" if they missed what I said. Errrr....

If her parents don't enforce that rule, that's them. You continue to correct her and it will be instilled in her manners, which will be helpful in the long run.

it's disrespectful.  I thought I was gone say 'what' till I nearly got the taste slapped out of my mouth.  It's 'yes?' or 'yes ma'am?'.  And don't think you just gone yell it across the house cause u tryna play your '64. U get off your butt and come see why u are being summoned.

I don't like for anyone to say that. Its so rude. Children and adults alike. Most of the time I don't respond until they correct themselves.

This right here. We got slapped for saying "ain't". If we even answered What we just knew to pack our stuff in a pillow case and never come back home. My mother made us answer her like this.

Mom:Sugaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Me: Yes mommy my dear?

Mom:Come change the channel for me.

Me:But the remote is right there.

Mom:So you're talking back to me

ME: running because a slipper was flying towards my head...LOLLOLLOLLOL.

It's a lot better now... he just likes to push the limits... that all . Like MOST children... they like to test and push .

I give him the side eye most of the time

I was never disrespectful to my parents growing up--- No way.
I talk to my mom and dad about their only grandsons behavior and they say he's only 4yo

Meh
