I am not one of those people that have to be polished and done up all of the time.

Black women at work are always dressed to the 9s..(full faced makeup, hair laid, obvi new clothes from Zara, pumps etc etc).. I think its beautiful, but I just can't be bothered with all of that. LOL

I'm soo simple with it and my credibility (and most importantly)- my $$$ is not suffering because of my minimalist approach.

To me a wrinkled shirt = too lazy to iron/don't care to look better = sloppy.  Difference of opinion, but she looks sloppy/messy just like the thin girl.

yea, notice both shirts were actually wrinkled

*in the don't iron crew*

Sleepy I could go back a few pages, quote some1 and be super messy, but I digress..

I like clothes, but hate shopping for them....skinny girls have it easier than thicker or fatter women...I say this because certain things (i.e. a snug dress, v neck) look obscene on certain body types.

But to stay on topic: The only time you will see HB looking a hot mess is after the gym...hobo chic

i see it as jeans, tank/maxi dresses, sandals, un-fussy pumps, tailored pieces, etc... clean, simple, and neat. Not even trendy necessarily, but put together/chic
.
