I don't know if anyone mentioned it. But have you thought about an iud? I blieve miren has progesterone but the other one Praguard (i think) doesn't have any hormones.

Oh my bad I just read that you need somrthing to control your heavy bleeding. But I did read that mirena has lightened some women's flow but I don't think its guaranteed.

Good Luck. Im looking for non hormonal bc too. Everything has pros and cons though.

Have you tried a low dose pill? Most pills give me tons of side effects but I get NONE with Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo.  Supposedly Nuvaring is less likely to give side effects too.

But in the meantime try some Red Raspberry Leaf capsules. You can find them on Amazon, check the reviews. They're really amazing. I had a period that lasted almost 2 months once and that's the only thing that stopped it.

All of the ones I've tried have been low dose, but I seem to be really sensitive.  I'll check out your suggestions!

I haven't dealt with it but I have a friend who could never adjust to bc pills and she just has to deal with the heavy cycle. It definitely sucks but her body can't take that stuff.
Nope, didn't even realize this was an option.  I'll do some research.
