just like highland hospital its going under construction to update it.  both hospitals remind me of an insane asylum................thats just how old it is.  like they'd film a scary crazy movie in them

this makes no sense. this woman had been dead for a week, and the orderly just thought she was "unconscious" as opposed to dead and decaying?
nobody bothered to go check after the woman was found?
this is awful.

Both are in the wrong field and should be fired with jail time . Under no circumstance would i leave a person in that condition . We have cell phones/ beepers for use at work to connect with every department . Something is really wrong.

I found this story strange too. I mentioned it to my sis when I first read about it. How could that happen that they were searching for her for weeks and she was right in hospital. Why wouldn't they search hospital top/bottom first before even starting an outside search??

I'm trying to figure out why the nurse didn't immediately get up to go see about the unconscious woman. And why didn't the orderly insist or tell someone else when he saw that the nurse didn't budge.

Where were they looking from Sept 21 to Oct 8? Did they just assume that she wandered outside and absconded? Did they not check the grounds first?

This story is strange and makes no sense.

even if she was a homeless woman you'd think that because it's a hospital they'd check to make sure she was okay
