I am recommending as I mentioned before to another user BBD stretch growth creme which acts as a reconstructive leave in. This retains moisture in the hair shaft which prevents breakage.
Unless you're having issues with dry scalp you shouldn't have to perform hot oil treatments...
Find a shampoo that is for your specific/current hair & scalp needs Joico K-Pak and/or moisturizing shampoos do wonders!
The purpose of ANY conditioner is to bring the hair back to moisture balance. This is why there are so many variations on the market. However, deep conditioning is the use of the conditioner with HEAT to open the shaft to allow the formula to penetrate the shaft versus simply coating it.
A moisturizer is an after the wash/dry process added to the hair to give it some moisture, but does not penetrate the shaft.. it's like applying lotion to dry skin.. Some things penetrate to help the skin (more permanent) with continued use and others just coat (temporary).
you must keep in mind no single product will work the same for everybody. You have to find the producst that work for YOU.
