Printer Ink I have seen some suggestions for lower carb diets. Some of the forums I am visiting suggest for us to workout and eat similar to men. I think there's something to this. None of them advocate for this low of a calorie intake. They also seem to have an easier time losing weight. I also think it has to do with how they are eating.

Yes, but men and women ... are different. It's always easier for men to lose weight. It's because they are men. Besides men are trying to lose fat to bulk up on the muscle department .. but most women are trying to lose fat to slim down. Different.
Yes, lower carb diets work ... only the thing is .. you have to stick to them too .. like forever. At some point you will start to crave bread or rice or whatever ... and once you start .. it's hard to go back to a low carb way of living. Hard ... I am talking long term, not a few weeks or months.
That's the Atkins diet. Tried it too. It's a trick. You only are allowed 20 - 30 or so carbs per day ... and this includes the healthy carbs like an orange or an apple. There are 25 carbs in apple! Ohh that drove me nuts.
So you have to spend the rest of your life playing this game of trying to avoid ANY carbs but the National food something something says you need 6 - 7 veggies and fruits a day (for many reasons).
Again once you have that pizza .. your body grabs on to those calories and pounds for dear life.
Besides when you have so few carbs ... you can't work out much - all. Do you know how many thin women are on the edge of a heart attack etc .. because they have not stressed their heart via exercise and they are so starved of nutrients that the body is feeding off itself way too much?
I hate to deflate the OP. I know it's great to lose all that weight. I am just saying it's the wrong way to lose it and it messes up your metabolism in the long run.
Sorry but it's just not sustainable.
Besides the OP is not on a low carb diet - she is on a NO carb diet and will soon transition to a very low carb diet.
I say, stop playing a game with your metabolism I'VE BEEN THERE and just stick to a WW sort of diet which IS SUSTAINABLE for the rest of your life.
If there is one thing that I would like to 'do over' in life .. it's my approach to weight loss. Alll those fad diets have broken my rubber band (metabolism) so it's sooo hard for me now.

The only thing I can do is eat a WW type of menu (which allows for a couple of fun meals on the weekend) and EXERCISE like ALL HECK to
speed up my metabolism because it's so slow now.
Take a lesson Ladies. Do not follow these fad diets.
