I ate chicken wings at least once a week this February. I consider my 2013 black history month a success.

Yes, I learned some stuff. I learned some from my job. Also the Black students at my school put together some good programs. Not so much informational, but just learned about perspectives of different subcultures within the black community. So I went to a few of these during BHM.

Yes, it was recognized at both my school and my job.

Not really disappointed. But I think it's sad that our history is only confined to a month.

This BHM didn't really inspire me to do anything in addition to what Im already doing.
