If someone asks me, I'll tell them. I work in a salon, so I like being able to promote the girls I work with, especially the ones who are just starting out and need more clients.
I do feel awkward when someone asks about my color and then attempts to duplicate it. It's just an odd thing to do.

same here, im usually answering along the lines of "oh this? i got it at xyz store on xyz street, can you believe it was only xyz dollars?" it doesnt take anything from me in sharing that kind of information i did my own "sisterlocks" and some ladies dont believe when they ask who my stylist was, thinking i just dont wanna tell them

i remember you saying your fro got patted down in the airport. that must be an awesome fro you have. but you're better than me, i dont react great when ppl bump into me i cant imagine someone touching me on purpose.
