yes, all the time.

I regularly come in at about 7, leave about 5 at the earliest. I invest a lot of time at home (such as working wknds) and money into my classroom b/c I need to.

If I don't overwork, I don't get everything done that's required. It sucks a lot of times, but that's the job.

YES!!!!! I use to business travel A LOT.. One time I was out of my state for a full two month working all types of odd hours and shyt.. That's when I knew it was time to get the hell up out of that position.. I had no hardly any personal life because of it and I was always tired and burned out... Ended up finding another position within the company..

Dealing with this now. Going to prepare a report or presentation for the folks I have to report to that details out how much I do to help them "understand" my workload. I answer to a board of directors, so don't actually have one "boss" but am overworked...as many are in nonprofit.

some suggestions may be to 1) report out how much you do and explain that you need help 2) ask them how you can better manage this caseload 3) request help or suggest an assistant or someone to help you 4) lastly, look for another job.

I've always overworked myself. Worked 2 full time jobs at least 3 times in my life. But I've never been overworked by a manager.

Now that I'm a manager, I push my reports but nothing extreme.

I currently work 16 hour double shifts 3 days a week in the ER . I also work a few hours a week , at my daugher's school as a nurse .
I plan to retire soon regardless if I can afford to or not . My father work most of his life , and passed 10 years after retirement . I would like to enjoy my baby before she grows up . Living comfortable is good enough for me .
