@chrissypoo Thank you! It's been over 7 years and it still looks the same but I'm going to try a combination of the sea salt soaks that you advised and also papaya soap and nadinola cream.. ..But I just might get it re-pierced after I try to fade the scar. |
Sea salt soaks are more to help speed up healing but you've had yours for a while so it wouldn't help much. I do think using raw apple cider vinegar on the area twice a day with a q tip may help though. The acv will exfoliate the scar tissue.

I had some darkness while mine was healing and it went away, just leave it alone and keep doing sea salt soaks. Getting it infected will increase the chances of it leaving a permanent scar. Mine took almost a year to fully heal and stop leaving crust, they take a long time. So just make sure to take good care of it.

sorry for the blank post, But I will definitely, get my belly button pierced again, but first I need to exercise this stomach before I do anythang, but fasho by this summer, I'll have it. ..I was also considering getting my tongue re-pierced, but I need a clear/transparent bar and bell, so it wont be noticeable.

awww, thank you for making me feel better about it.. I agree with you on the tattoo, I should leave that idea alone. I most likely will just get it re-pierced again and maybe the marks wouldnt be sooo noticeable.

It doesn't look like a dark spot at all. It just looks like a scar. But I dont think u should get a tattoo because it'll only attract more attention to that area.
