IA although I also do believe plenty of people set their standards high fpr what they want in a partner yet don't live up to those same standards themselves. To me it doesn't make sense for me for some people to feel like they are deserving of someone who treats them like a queen/king when they treat that person like a peasant. 
Very true I've ran into the princess syndrome people.. I use to always hear if he can't treat me as good as my daddy can treat me then I'm gone.. But I always thought what are you bringing to the table that makes someone want to treat you that way..
