This. I think it's very important to teach your kids as soon as you can even if it's just teaching them about their body parts. You wouldn't believe how clueless people are when it comes to even the simplest things. 

Not to get off topic but I've heard some silly behind mess when it comes to the topic of sex. My friend's 17 year old niece told her a guy told her that a girl won't get pregnant unless she actually has an orgasm. Same girl ends up pregnant a few months later and doesn't know what happened or why.
