Soooo in the weave section there's many stories about getting weave checked at the airport. In order to avoid drama , I try to keep my hair and clothes airport friendly. So anywho. I'm flying back from visiting home. I co-washed with VO5 and put my little curly Afro in a puff and let it air dry. The woman who was checking border passes complimented my hair and asked how long I've been natural. I explained to her I'm texlaxed and its been almost a year. Then I keep it moving and put all my ish in the little boxes and go to the body scanner. The black TSA agent (who was also natural) gave me the go ahead. But the white TSA agent , who was some d white guy, told me that I have to stop. Then he proceeded to tell me that the other TSA agent needed to check my hair.
. The black TSA agent looked pissed off at him and said "I told you she was good." Then looked at me and said "ma'am. I'm sorry. I don't need to check your hair. You passed the inspection ". I thanked her and kept it moving. They made such a scene. I was low key embarrassed.
