I met my best friend in 5th grade. Our music teacher made us have an in class talent show. Her weird ass sang the Honey Nut Cheerios song, and I laughed til my stomach hurt. I said hi to her in PE, and she told me she always wanted to be my friend but she was scared of me because I cursed a lot. I told her I wouldn't curse her out if she didn't give me a reason to, and we've been best friends ever since.
My next closest friend has the exact first name as my best friend, just spelled differently. Freshmen year, my apartment complex accidentally put her in my apartment as my roommate, and put my best friend somewhere else. We hated each other at first cuz she stole my ham to feed her freeloading boyfriend. As much hell as we went thru, when I really needed her, she was there even though I probably wouldn't have done the same for her. She's been my boo ever since

I just came back from visiting my best friend. We were just talking about this and I was like, "So...do you remember how we became friends in the first place?" She couldn't remember, either.
My other best friend from Australia and I were roommates in Japan. The first thing she said was, "So...you're not one of those super neat-freak-types, are you?" I said no, and that was history.

I have some friends I've befriended because we were the same height or our names were similar hahaha

When moms and pops moved us out to the 'burbs...that is how I met a lot of friends..just being the only blacks there

I have some friends I've befriended because we were the same height or our names were similar hahaha

One friend I met through my sibling.
Another I met freshman year of college. We were in the same class. Someone took my seat so I had to sit next to her. I asked if she wanted to be in my group. We bonded over True Blood. She's great. She puts up with my crazy.
I still don't have a BFF to infinity, but she's a great friend.

but my bestie and I met in the 7th grade.
it was the first day of school...and we had assigned seating in our humanities class. Each desk sat two students.. and we shared a desk.
The first thing she said to me was "that man (our teacher) is cute"
lol.
this is what happens when you are 12...and your teacher is a 22 yr old.. ex/model.
its weird b/c we used to dress alike...but not on purpose. we just had similar taste.. and it showed!
her child is my first god-child.
we are more like family now.
She works w/ my mom. I used to work w/ her mom.
and we call each other...and each other's sisters sisters

We met my freshman year at college; she was an upperclass-woman. Her roommate was also a freshman that I met at Pre-O. I met her thru that friend. She and I started doing things together and we bonded. We used to say why didn't we get put together as roommates. She introduced me to her friends which became mine too. And we're still together!
